MEETING GOALS TO COLLECT OLD A/R
Rivia automates the collection process for patient balances. It has helped collect balances that have old A/R. That was one of the goals: to collect old accounts and reduce that A/R. Also, we wanted to automate the solution so that it would help with some of the workload that the in-house account representatives were doing. The system sends text messages and email messages to patients telling them that they have an open balance. Each patient can then go ahead and make their payment and the process takes us out of the equation. The system saves us a lot of phone calls and lot of the work to do that, and it makes it more convenient for the patient to pay when they are able to.
